1. Band recently had the chance to participate in a pop-up shop to help fund Forest For The Trees NW, a mural project that will be coming to Portland in August.
We designed not only the event’s 2012 branding, but also a handful of custom swag items, including some hand-painted chucks and a baseball cap.

Go check out forestforthetreesnw.com for more info about this sweet project.
Big thanks to our buddKris Regentin for the photos.

  2. Portland Made’s Launch Party last week was a smashing success.
Thanks to the team that helped make this thing a reality, including ADX, Supportland, Eric Gold and Megamouth.
Thanks to everyone who came, including Mayor Charlie Hales for the pep talk and especially to Rachel Hadiashar for the wonderful photos.
If you have not seen the site, please check it out at portlandmade.com,
And be sure to stay updated on the project as it grows over the next year!

  3. Band recently participated in a TEDx event in NE Portland by designing all their print materials for the event. Our logo ended up being derived from classic cycling logos, and so, in turn, the event was a stationary bike race, because let’s be honest, you gotta get some blood moving if you’re gonna sit and listen to people talk for eight hours.

  4. We are incredibly proud to say that the website and company we have been building, Portland Made, has officially launched.
Go check it out at portlandmade.com.

  7. Last week, Band travelled very briefly to Vegas with our friend Nicole Bittner to do some research. Yes, research.
Ok, maybe we had one (or six) margaritas, but in the morning, we woke up bright and early and went to the Neon Museum.
Here, the signs of Vegas’ brilliant past are preserved by an awesome team of dedicated enthusiasts. The signs were some killer inspiration for our own work, expect to see their influence in our portfolio in the near future!

  8. Band participated in the Portland Letterpress Printers Fair last month as a part of Portland Design Week. Here is a collaboration effort with our buddy Chloe Miller, whose work you can see here!
